General Description:-
The site accepts the ACSI Camping Card which saves a gooly sum on the standard winter tarriff.
This is a large site built on a steep hill, all the pitches are however pretty flat although many do need a little help if the caravan or motorhome is to be pitched flat. The site is beautifully kept, indeed there is one chap on the gardening team whose sole occupation is grass cutting which he described as being akin to the painting of the Fourth Road Bridge.
Toilets and Showers:-
The showers and toilets are modern and kept spotlessly clean and provide all the necessary paper, soap etc,.
Laundrette:-
There is a reasonably priced launderette on site.
Restaurant:-
The site has a restaurant/bar that, we are told, provides good reasonably priced food and drink, there is also a mobile fish and chip that visits once a week and a mobile Indian takeaway that also visits on a weekly basis.
Supermarket:-
There is a basic supermarket located in the reception area.
Conclusion:-
This is a large well run site that we have visited in the past, they accept ACSI and give an off season discount, and as it was quite full when we were there it would, I imagine, be very crowded in season
Price:-
We stayed five nights, at a cost of €17.00 per night which the site computer system translated to £15.00 per night.
